Advise & Training Programs
Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is charged with the enormous responsibility of advising, mentoring, assisting, training and preparing units to support both assigned and contingency requirements across the globe.

These critical mission requirements, even more important today given the highly complex operational environment, continue to grow in scope, despite external constraints limiting manpower, funding, and priority of support.

CNSP understands that that the Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) nature of the contemporary operating environment requires commanders and their staffs to understand the unique capabilities, authorities, decision and consensus making models, synchronization techniques, and interagency integration mechanisms needed to leverage ‘whole of government’ capabilities in order to maximize the blend of hard and soft power focused on mission execution.

CNSP supports the Department of Defense (DoD) by providing interagency subject matter experts (SME) in the areas of Political Advisors (POLADS) with specific expertise in Training Audience commander support and Higher and Adjacent Headquarters (H&AHQ) support, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Civil-Military Operations (CMO)/Civil Affairs (CA), and Information Operations/Public Affairs/Media Operations/Strategic Communications (IO/PA/Media).

CNSP has unparalleled experience and impeccable credentials supported by an experienced and robust Program Management Office.

The DoD training and exercises are designed to prepare multi-capable Units to execute their mission - to include Large Scale Exercises, Battle Staff Training, and Integrated Training Exercises.

To support the DoD, CNSP provides a comprehensive interagency package of SMEs tailored for the unique requirements necessary to prepare units to win in conflict environments, build partner nation capacities when required for USMC Security Force Assistance (SFA) requirements, and execute missions in support of Geographic Combatant Command Theater Security Cooperation requirements.
